Huanghe Street Pedestrian Overpass, Shenyang

This pedestrian overpass is located at the south gate of Shenyang Normal University on Huanghe North Street. The surrounding area includes Huacheng Community, Shenyang Normal University and Dongjia Swiss Hotel with heavy pedestrian flow. Sited on an urban arterial road in Huanggu District, the overpass is surrounded by dense residential quarters, hotels and a large‑scale university. The implementation of this pedestrian overpass enables safe street‑crossing for local residents and students, and meanwhile improves traffic efficiency on Huanghe North Street.

Adopting a steel truss structure, the overpass spans across Huanghe North Street with a main span of 41.7 m and a net main‑bridge width of 3.0 m. Access stair‑ways are arranged on both sides.
