The main structure of the bridge is a single-tower, double-cable-plane self-anchored suspension bridge.
The mid-span and secondary side spans of the main deck adopt steel girders, while the pylon and the north & south approach bridges are of concrete structure.
The total length of the two steel girder spans is 272 m. The standard bridge width at the mid-section is 40.8 m, widening to 43.3 m at both ends. The steel main girder adopts a double-box single-cell cross-section. Its standard width is 40.8 m and girder depth is 3 m, with a 2% cross slope on the deck.
The longitudinal spacing of longitudinal girder diaphragms is 3.5 m. The inter-box transverse diaphragms align with the longitudinal girders, and no bottom plate is arranged between longitudinal girders.
Hanger points are set at the cantilever beams with a spacing of 7 m. Prestressed concrete stiffening girders are adopted within 9 m at both ends of the main bridge.
The stiffening girder is 43.3 m wide and features a 2% cross slope. A reverse slope of 0.5% is applied within the 2.75 m edge zone.
