The Tengfei Bridge Reconstruction Project started in 2021 with a steel consumption of over 1,000 tons. The bridge adopts an arch girder structure. The arch design draws inspiration from the image of "a roc spreading its wings", symbolizing the pursuit of aspirations and the realization of grand visions. The alignment and dimensions of the arch girders were finalized after continuous optimization using 3D simulation technology. The design satisfies the clearance requirement over the bridge deck and achieves the optimal landscape improvement effect.

The structural design of the bridge follows the basic principles of "safety, durability, serviceability, environmental protection, economy and aesthetics". The original bridge consisted of 12 spans of 20m hollow slab or T-girder structure. After subsequent expansion and widening, the existing bridge is a four-track dual-direction roadway.

The reconstructed steel arch girder has a span arrangement of 2×80m. Independent foundations are constructed respectively at the median divider and side dividers to provide support. This arrangement minimizes impacts on the existing bridge and ensures the structural safety of the original bridge.
